Una Vuelta a Iberia, día 5

Valencia a Dénia, 96km (acumulados 484km)

El día empezó con la despedida a mi compañero, que madrugó para regresar en tren. Me dejó un poco desorientado. Nada más cargar y montar la bici, me dí cuenta que las nuevas pastillas de freno se instalaron mal y que requerían un ajuste inmediato. Volví al taller y después de una hora las tenía sólo medio arregladas. Ansioso, llevé la bici a otro taller que las arregló un poco más, pero mejor de todo me enseñaron como hacer ajustes. Saliendo tres horas más tarde que lo normal, me costó encontrar la salida deseada de Valencia. Pasé por el Parque Natural de la Albufera. Pero por mi mal estado de ánimo y por mis altas expectativas, me decepcionó. También empecé a pasar por urbanizaciones dejadas casi abandonadas por el fin de la alta temporada y por la crísis. Seguro que volveré a este tema en la Costa del Sol. Bueno, no disfruté mucho la etapa de hoy. Pero mañana empezaré de nuevo desde cero.

The day began with the farewell to my companion, who got up early to return by train. It left me a little disoriented. Barely had I loaded and mounted the bike, I realized that the new brake pads were installed badly and needed an immediate adjustment. I returned to the shop and after an hour they had them only half fixed. Anxious, I took the bike to another shop that managed to fix them a bit more, but best of all they showed me how to make adjustments. Leaving three hours later than usual, I struggled to find the desired exit from Valencia. I passed through El Albufera natural park. But for my bad mood and for my high expectations, I was disappointed. I also started passing through developments left nearly abandoned for the end of peak season and for the crisis. I'm sure that I'll return to this theme in the Costa del Sol. Well, I didn't really enjoy today's stage. But tomorrow I'll start again from zero.
