Una Vuelta a Iberia, día 27

Salamanca a Valladolid, 118km (acumulados 2294km)

Es mejor sentirse bien que tener buen aspecto. Y hoy gané ningún punto por estar bien vestido, llevando azul, amarillo, negro y verde fluorescente. Pero al menos no me congelé las piernas esta mañana. Tenía otras cosas para preocuparme. Para empezar, los pronósticos para lluvia fueron de mal hoy a peor mañana. Si podría llegar a Valladolid, supongo que no me importaría estar atrapado allí. Si no me llovería hoy, tendría que entregar una etapa a sólo 2km por debajo de mi máxima personal. Ayer por la noche, fui a Decathlon y compré un maillot largo. Y valió la pena esta mañana. Apenas sufrí debido al fresquito de mañana. El sol luchaba por salir pero la etapa era muy plana y entregué un buen rendimiento. Ni siquiera me detuve para sentarme los primeros 85km, hasta que el sol finalmente salió. ¿Qué tiempo hará mañana?

It's better to feel good than to look good. And today I won no points for dressing well, wearing blue, yellow, black, and florescent green. But at least I didn't freeze my legs off this morning. I had other things to worry about. To start, the forecasts for rain went from bad today to worse tomorrow. If I could get to Valladolid, I guess I wouldn't mind being stuck there. If it didn't rain on me today, then I'd have to deliver a stage only 2km short of my personal maximum. Last night, I went to Decathlon and bought a long maillot. And boy did it pay off this morning. I hardly suffered due to the morning briskness. The sun struggled to come out but the stage was very flat and I delivered a strong performance. I didn't even stop to sit down the first 85km, until the sun finally came out. What weather will tomorrow bring?
