Una Vuelta a Iberia, día 43

Santiago de Compostela a Vigo, 93km (acumulados 3671km)

Primero, mil gracias a mi amable anfitrión en Santiago. A veces me siento asombrado por la generosidad de mis anfitriones. Ojalá fuera la mitad de generoso.... Hoy no tuve muchas ganas de pedalear. Pero mañana el pronóstico para Santiago es lluvia. Emprendé la etapa en una manta de niebla y aire fresquito. Una vez fuera de las urbanizaciones de Santiago, estuve bien. Mayormente llana o cuesta abajo y con carretera en buena condición, la ruta de hoy no tuve nada que ver con la ruta de ayer. Llegué sin problema a Pontevedra donde la niebla se fue y disfruté de comer fuera. Después terminé en Vigo sin despeinarme. No es nada mal pedalear 93km sin ganas. A ver si tomo un día de descanso o si dos días de 75km me basta.

First, many thanks to my gracious host in Santiago. Sometimes I'm astounded by the generosity of my hosts. I hope that I'm half as generous.... Today I didn't really feel like riding. But tomorrow the forecast for Santiago is rain. I started the stage in a blanket of fog and chilly air. Once outside the Santiago area, I was fine. Mostly flat or downhill and with the road in good condition, the route today was nothing like the route yesterday. I arrived with no problem in Pontevedra where the fog lifted and I enjoyed lunch outside. Afterward I finished in Vigo without breaking a sweat. It's not bad to ride 93km when you don't really feel like it. Let's see if I take a rest day or if two days of 75km is enough for me.
