En el pronóstico para hoy, había una ventana de oportunidad para salir de Burgos antes de las 12. Pero esta ventana no se materializó: llovió casi todo el día desde la hora de levantarme. Entonces pasé todo el día con mis amigos y sus familiares -- y comí el doble de cualquier otro. Sé que el descanso me sirvió bien y disfruté de la compañía pero espero mucho volver a montar la bici mañana....

In the forecast for today, there was a window of opportunity to leave Burgos before 12:00. But this window didn't materialize: it rained almost all day from the time I got up. So I spent all day with my friends and their families - and I ate twice as anyone else. I know that the rest did me good and I enjoyed the company but I really hope to get back on the bike tomorrow....
