Una Vuelta a Iberia, día 31

Vitoria-Gasteiz a Pamplona, 99km (acumulados 2642km)

Después del día 28 de mi vuelta (Valladolid a Burgos, 133km), hoy fue el segundo día más díficil. El día empezó con prónosticos de llovizna hasta mediodía y decidí esperar hasta las 11 para hacer la decisión final. No hay mucha diferencia entre valiente y loco. Decidí que hizo falta aguantar las condiciones y poner me valiente. Pero la verdad es que tuve el estomago un poco mal y por eso dormí fatal. Cuando emprendí la etapa, las piernas no tuve mucha fuerza pero pensé que calentaran. Pero después de 20km, siguieron sin mucha fuerza y pensé que estuve loco. Empecé a buscar alojamiento pero no había nada. Después de 20km más, las piernas me arrancaron y fui bien un rato -- pero sólo un rato. Durante todo la etapa el tiempo alternaba entre llovizna y frío. Sufrí mucho y dudé que llegara. Pero al final, llegué y disfruté una ducha caliente. A ver cómo me sienta mañana. La próxima vez, tendré que repensar esta decisión.

After day 28 of my trip (Valladolid to Burgos, 133km), today was the second hardest day. The day started with forecasts of rain until midday and I decided to wait until 11:00 to make the final decision. There is a fine line between brave and crazy. I decided that I needed to bear the conditions and to be brave. But the truth is I had the stomach a little bad and so I slept awful. When I started the stage, my legs didnt have much strength but I thought that they'd warm up. But after 20km, they continued without much strength and I thought I was being crazy. I started looking for accommodation but there was nothing. After another 20km, my legs started up and I went well for a while -- but just for a while. During the entire stage, the weather alternated between rain and cold. I suffered a lot and I doubted that I'd arrive. But in the end, I arrived and enjoyed a hot shower. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. Next time I'll have to rethink this decision.
